The Best Products Use The Best Components

Since our goal is to provide you with excellence in all respects, then our products must also be excellent. In order for that to happen, we must start with the very best in raw materials.

Our industrial oils are comprised of mixtures or blends of base stocks and additives.

These come from oil refineries which can be either domestic or foreign. Most of our industrial oils are based on Group II base oils from ExxonMobil. We also use base oils from other high quality producers such as Calumet and Ergon.

We also use synthetic base stocks for some of our specialty products. These materials come from producers such as Huntsman or Dow.

The term 'additives' is a very broad category of items that may be used in the manufacturing of our specialty lubricants. This might include lubricants, emulsifiers, demulsifiers, surfactants, corrosion inhibitors, rust inhibitors, defoamers, anti-wear agents, extreme pressure agents, friction modifiers, lubricity agents, color stabilizers, oxidation inhibitors, and other things.

Some of our key suppliers of additives include companies like Lubrizol, Elco, Infineum, ExxonMobil Chemical, and others.

We get a great deal of technical support from these large suppliers. All of them have excellent technical and research departments staffed with PhD's and Chemical Engineers. Many of them have been close friends of Sunbelt for many years. We are always happy to challenge them with requirements for new additives, and they are always looking for that new molecule that will give us the performance edge. We deeply appreciate our relationships with suppliers and seek to provide excellence in those relationships by being a great customer for them.
